At Great Valley, you will see several unique products and accounts that help our kids learn how to save and borrow wisely!
During National Credit Union Youth Week, kids (and adults) can purchase an official Kids Only Club T-shirt for just $7, (while supplies last!). Check out this cool shirt that is on display at the credit union office.
Kids Only Club members can receive additional prizes this month when they bring in their completed newsletter puzzles. Just check out the latest issue of the Kids Only Club news for details.
The Great Valley Debit Card offers the convenience of an ATM/MAC card with the buying power of a checkbook. Because it only uses the funds in their Great Valley Checking Account, college students can learn the importance of balancing a checkbook and tracking expenses. The Great Valley Card is accepted for payment anywhere you see the MAC or MasterCard logo, so college students will find this card easy to use anywhere they go.
A Secured MasterCard helps young buyers learn how to use a credit card, and avoid getting into revolving debt. The credit limit available on the card is secured by a set amount of money in the member's savings account (as little as $250). The funds held as collateral still earn interest in the savings account, while the member learns the value of sticking to a credit limit they can afford.
For information on these money saving services, please contact a Great Valley representative at any office, or on-line at www.Great Valleyfcu.org.

Check with your relatives today. If they are paying high fees for their accounts and services at the banks, tell them about the benefits you enjoy as a member of our credit union.
"We like to keep most of our money in the savings account, not checking, to earn the interest",remarks Jean. "When I write checks to pay the bills, I just call AR24 to transfer the funds needed to clear the checks. It's real convenient and it's free", says Ted. "I hardly ever visit the branch, because I really don't need to. With direct deposit, my Great Valley debit card and AR24, I can do it all on my time schedule."
As a college student (and Great Valley employee), Mary Ferrari of Coatesville, PA, finds using AR24 the best way to manage her accounts when she is away at Kutztown University.
"If I need to write a check, I just find a payphone and call AR24 from school. The transaction happens exactly when I call, so I can even transfer money from savings to checking to use my debit card when I go shopping. It's the best way for me to use my Great Valley accounts."
Take control of your account today. Call any credit union office to start using this time saving service.
